Odour Monitoring Ireland established an odour free laboratory and environmental service offering olfactometry, air quality monitoring, atmospheric dispersion modelling and abatement services in County Meath. The staff within the company has approximately 20 years collective experience in researching and resolving odour and air quality issues in Ireland and abroad and have published approximately 13 peer-reviewed papers in international journals.
Odour Monitoring Ireland began trading in 2002 and since its inception the company has grown from strength to strength expanding its range and type of service whilst building relationships and accredited support services in the form of an affiliated company Air Scientific Limited.
Our mission is to provide clients across Ireland and Europe with medium combustion directive emissions management solutions, fugitive and stack emissions measurement, dispersion modelling and air pollution project management abatement service for all types of industry, from planning through to completion, with a highly skilled professional team working together, using common sense and practical experience.
Company Management
Currently, Odour Monitoring Ireland Ltd. consists of highly trained individuals in various science disciplines. Dr. Brian Sheridan was responsible for establishing the first research odour facility in Ireland and consequently established a similar odour research facility in California. Dr. John Casey has pioneered work on Life cycle analysis for intensive agricultural emissions and subsequently received the Bourke Bronze medal award for his research.
